Monthly Music Lists
Music in the Roman Catholic church uses the three yearly liturgical cycle, allowing for local adjustments made to suit individual church or service needs. Appropriate music is chosen for all services including Feast Days, Holy Days and the liturgical seasons. The Roman Catholic tradition does not allow fro the cobbleing together of self-made liturgies and its guidelines on what is to be sung at Mass and in the Offices of the Church are clearly set out in the Second Vatican Council documents. Their practical usage is unlocked in the General Instruction.
The monthly music lists are updated on a regular basis. Please use the menu to the right to access month by month lists, archived from April 2007 onwards.
